Walking Tamales Tours

FILLO's Walking Tamales is partnering with local creators across the country to explore the cultural connections and dialogues that happen when we walk around our neighborhoods.

The first Walking Tamales Tour, shaped like our Walking Tamales character Andi, will take place in Chicago. It was created in partnership with art guide Luis Tubens and visual artist Josué Pellot who unveiled his newest mural as part of this tour.

Watch Josué and Luis’s journey and take the tour.

Tour Kick-off: October 23rd

Meet in Dvorak (Anton) Park on the northeast side of Dvorak Park at Cullerton & Carpenter at 12 p.m. noon Sunday, October 23 to the free “Walking Tamales Tours” art tour kick-off, in partnership with Segundo Ruiz Belvis Cultural Center, to get a first look at the neighborhood’s newest mural “One At a Time” by acclaimed Chicago visual artist Josué Pellot.

Of course, you can enjoy free Walking Tamales as you explore the neighborhood on the Walking Tamales Tour, curated by local Pilsen art guide Luis Tubens.
